Meant No Harm With My New Song “Sh*Thole Country” Dadie Opanka

Barely 24hrs after the release of my new song “shithole country” I Had a call from my big brother Reggie Rockstone and he broke it down to me why I shouldn’t have used Donald trumps inexcusable rant about African Countries or his image to express my heart felt concerns about Africa and Ghana which I totally got the point after our conversation.

It’s unfortunate how the the title and artwork might seem to support what Trump said, but it’s something I personally wouldn’t want to be a part of and therefore in no certain terms will I want to endorse it.

I am an entertainer and a black revolutionist who doesn’t seek to only entertain but also churn out good music towards the development of Ghana and Africa as a whole, it was in this vain that as a creative person I did “shithole country” to throw lights on the needful things as citizens and not rather waste our precious time on things that are of no​ national interest and help make Ghana our motherland a safe haven to be.

Isaac Dogboe Undefeated boxer wants to 'conquer the world'

Ghana’s undefeated pugilist, Isaac “Royal storm” Dogboe, says he is ready to make a strong statement in the United States (US) for himself and Africa by conquering the world when he beats Jessie Magdaleno in their WBO Super bantamweight title fight on April 28.

Dogboe (18-0, 12 KOs) said, having sparred with Magdaleno in California when he was just 4-0, he was under no pressure to snatch the world title from him because he was more experienced now to deal with his threats.

The 23-year-old boxer told the Graphic Sports during the official launch of his mandatory fight with Magdaleno in Accra yesterday that he would succeed anywhere with the right mentality, and that he was ready to fight anywhere in the world.

“I am not afraid to fight outside Ghana and I am leaving for America to conquer the world and make a strong statement for myself and Africa by beating Jessie Magdaleno.

“Having sparred him in 2014, I am under no pressure to snatch his title from him because I believe I am more experienced to deal with any of his threats,” he said.

Dogboe announced himself on the world stage after a fifth round technical knockout victory over Mexico’s Cesar Juarez on January 6 to win the WBO Interim Super Bantamweight title at the Bukom Boxing Arena, earning him a mandatory shot against champion Magdaleno.

Magdaleno (25-0, 18 KOs), was billed to fight Juarez in his second title defence but pulled out due to a wrist injury he sustained during training.

Magdaleno and Dogboe, ahead of their undisputed championship in America, have been engaging in a war of words, with the Mexican calling on his opponent to sign the contract so he can mop him out of the division.

“Hey Isaac Dogboe, hurry up and sign the damn contract and let’s get this fight going so I can mop you out of this division,” he boasted on Twitter.

But Dogboe, in his response, warned Magdaleno to tread carefully in order not to get him angry since he was coming for him.

NSS releases Pin codes for 2018/2019 nurses enrolment

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released a total number of 9,342 Pin codes for eligible Ghanaian nurses who passed their licensing examinations organised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council to enrol to do their 2018/2019 national service.
The eligible nurses are, therefore, requested to log onto https://www.nss.gov.gh on the Scheme’s website to access their Pin codes with their index numbers from the Nursing and Midwifery Council.Eligile nurses should go to any of ADB bank limited branch to make a payment of Ghs 40 to activate the enrolment process. Complete the enrolment online process before 17th of March 2018

EBONY GOES HOME ON 17TH MARCH

Late Ghanaian Dancehall Queen, Ebony Reigns born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, will be buried on March 17, 2018.The family declosed that the funeral rite will be held in Accra but the venue is not yet out.

The Reggae/Dancehall superstar with his Bhimnation Team together with some folks from Zylofon Media visited Ebony’s residence in Dansoman to pay tribute and express condolences to her family.
Ghanaian dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns who also died in the accident last   Thursday night February 8, 2018 together with her two friends, at Nyame Bekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region after their vehicle collided with a VIP bus when returning to Accra after visiting  her mother in Sunyani.

Franky Kuri to be buried on 3rd March

Information reaching SooBii Family is that Franky Kuri, the friend of dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns who also died in the accident last Thursday, will be buried on March 3, 2018. Franky died in road accident on Thursday night February 8, 2018 with her musician friend, Ebony, at Nyame Bekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region after their vehicle collided with a VIP bus. Franky had accompanied Ebony to visit her mother in Sunyani and was returning to Accra when the incident occurred. The funeral will be held at Achimota Mile 7 in Accra per the family’s schedule. Frank Kuri who is said to be a music freak is a close friend to Ebony who spends time with the musician anytime she was in Ghana and has sometimes served as one of her dancers
